The Perfect White Dress

With the vast amount of wedding dresses out there, it can be a very overwhelming task to find the perfect gown.  I searched around my fair share of bridal shops until I came to Mary Me Bridal and found the one.  I loved my Mori Lee gown and the black sash with detailed beading finished off my overall look.

How cute is the bridal suite at our venue, Turnip Rose?  It made for the perfect bridal gown photograph.

Peony Season, Yes Please!

Good morning!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Peony season is upon us and I couldn’t be more excited!  My hubby picked some up for me this weekend at good old Trader Joe’s and they are beautiful!  I’m pretty sure I’ll be making a stop this week for some more… if only they could last forever

Go and get some peonies for yourself while they’re still in season!  Here in California usually that is until early June.

My Badgley Mischka Wedding Shoes

Hi there friends!  Choosing ones wedding shoes is a very important process in wedding planning.  Color, heel height, and designer brand all come into play in a bride’s decision making.  I fell in love with Badgley Mischka’s Randee shoe when I first saw them on a bridal website years ago.  I loved them because I knew after the wedding I would be able to wear the shoes again.  Not only were they comfortable but they finished off my overall bridal look.  They are available in an assortment of colors as well!

My Wedding Jewelry

Hello friends!  Let the wedding detail posts begin… I have all my wedding photos back and can’t wait to share.

I knew very early on in my planning what I was looking for in terms of wedding jewelry, Nadri chandelier earrings from Nordstrom.  I had seen them previously on a bride in a magazine and knew I had to have them!  These are perfect for a date night or any kind of special occasion, don’t you think? 

I’m not sure if they’re available in stores anymore, but I’m sure you could find them online somewhere or even get a good deal from a bride selling them.  I think I’ll hold on to mine, they’re just too pretty!

The last photo you can see a little bit more of the overall look with the earrings.  I love how they went perfectly with my sash.  I chose to go fairly simple with my jewelry, only wearing earrings, a Nadri bracelet, and of course my wedding rings.

Our Wedding Album is Here!

Hi friends!  Guess what?  Not only did we receive our GORGEOUS wedding album from our photographers, but we also received all our wedding photos!!!  Stay tuned for tons of pretty pics and details from our big day.

Wedding Gown Preservation

A bride’s wedding dress is a huge part of her wedding day, obviously!  Having my wedding dress cleaned and preserved after the wedding was very important to me.  Luckily, the bridal shop I bought my gown from, Mary Me Bridal, provided an excellent company in Wedding Gown Preservation Co.  They clean and preserve the wedding gown, giving it a 100 year guarantee.  In the event the dress begins to yellow, they promise to re preserve the gown or refund the money in the case they are unable to remove the yellow color.

The box it came in has a viewing window so you’re able to see the gown.

Sure it’s just sitting in a box and there’s nothing you can really do with it but put it in your closet, but it’s still there to remind you of the best day of your life!  I’d highly recommend Wedding Gown Preservation Co. to brides looking to preserve or even just clean their gowns after the wedding day.  They’re prices are very reasonable and they have been around since 1913 so you know they are experts in the field!
