Flower Friday: The Bouquet

Happy Friday friends!  I wanted to share with you a favorite bouquet photo of mine.  There will be a full post on my wedding flowers by the talented Natalie Galasso Designs, but for now just a sneak peek!  My gorgeous bouquet was made up of red roses, mostly dark reds, with black cala lilies throughout.  It was finished off with a black lace wrap around the stems.  Love love love!

Peony Season, Yes Please!

Good morning!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Peony season is upon us and I couldn’t be more excited!  My hubby picked some up for me this weekend at good old Trader Joe’s and they are beautiful!  I’m pretty sure I’ll be making a stop this week for some more… if only they could last forever :)

Go and get some peonies for yourself while they’re still in season!  Here in California usually that is until early June.

Have a fabulous day!

Flower Friday

Happy Friday friends!  I think it’s pretty obvious I have an obsession with flowers, I just can’t get enough!

One of my absolute favorites is the Jasmine plant, not only for its beautiful flower but also because of its amazing fragrance.  I can always tell Spring is here when the little Jasmine buds begin to bloom and the sweet smells waft into our place.  In a couple more weeks the whole plant should be in full bloom.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone and don’t forget to stop and smell the Jasmine :)

Flower Friday: Spring Tulips

Next week is officially the first day of Spring.  I don’t know about you, but when I think of Spring flowers, the first thing that pops into my mind is tulips!  I love this flower, what about you?  I might have to make a stop at Trader Joe’s this weekend and pick some up!

Happy Friday!  February has been a tough month, so I’m very happy to see the start of March and more imporantly my birthday month!

I always love seeing these anthropologie mugs and when they’re combined with tulips, ranunculus, anemones, and various other beautiful florals you really can’t go wrong!

Happy Friday!  I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day yesterday and spent time with the ones you love.

Here’s some pretty tulips I picked up from Trader Joe’s last week; they’re still looking as good as ever.

I made this simple little love banner to wrap around the tulips…

I’m not ready to take all the Valentine’s decorations down yet, they can stay up a little longer :)

Flower Friday

Hello friends, happy Friday!  It’s a long 4 day weekend for me : )

I’m drooling over this bouquet made by Janie Medley of The Bride’s Cafe.  This particular arrangement is so bright and colorful with some of my favorite florals – coral peonies, peach and white ranunculus, and geranium leaves.  Stunning!

Flower Friday: My Wedding Bouquet

Hi friends!  I wanted to share with you a beautiful picture my mom took of my bouquet the day after the wedding.  I loved it so much I’m having it preserved so I can look at it forever, can’t wait to show you all the finished product.  Until then, here’s my gorgeous bouquet of dark red roses and black cala lilies designed by Natalie Galasso Designs.
