What a darling idea! I came across this today on the Wedding Chicks blog and wanted to share. It’s such a fun, inventive way to create your wedding invitations or save the dates and I’m sure something your guests will cherish for many years to come!
Check out all the custom handkerchiefs and goodies made by Rachel over at Benign Objects on Etsy.
I gave you a sneak peak last week and I’m picking up tonight with the rest of this refreshing winter shoot …
I was alerted this morning by my REI iPhone app that there’s 24 inches of new snow in the mountains! I’m dying to go boarding but there’s no time right now so I guess this Canadian winter photo shoot will just have to do 🙂

Today I headed down to San Diego to check out “A Royal Affair” hosted at the gorgeous US Grant Hotel. I love attending these wedding shows, it was such a great day! There were so many talented wedding vendors on hand from Sprinkles cupcakes to Tiffany & Co along with SO many pretty displays and giveaways, not to mention tons of free wedding magazines (which I LOVE to collect). One of my favorite rooms in the hotel is the Crystal Ballroom. This room is amazing and oh so beautiful with European plasterwork and a hand painted ceiling which makes for a stunning wedding ceremony. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Heavenly Cupcakes … vanilla carmel was my favorite!
Are you kidding me? This is so cute! I LOVE cupcakes and I love fondue – perfect! Sorry I’m just a little excited, can’t wait to make these! Who’s coming over?
Check out all the details on Pint Size Social and thanks to Amanda from Bake It Pretty for the cute idea!
2 of my favorite things – flowers and snow! Check back soon for the rest of this beautiful winter photo shoot.

I ❤ cake, especially pretty ones! Sweet & Saucy Shop in Long Beach, CA makes unique and custom desserts for weddings and all kinds of special events. Here are 2 of my favorites, created and photographed by owner and pastry chef, Melody Brandon. They’re ALMOST too pretty to eat 🙂
The sugar flowers look perfect!
I’m crazy about this next cake. Modern and all white, the rose petals fall effortlessly down the length of the cake. It’s so unique and sleek!

Have a great weekend everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
Don’t you just love great photography + a cute couple + a fabulous venue? I do! I bookmark tons of my favorite weddings and this is one of them. Posted back in 2009, I fell in love with the architectural setting of the Skirball Center and the color scheme of this Orthodox Jewish wedding. Adee & Jonathan hired the talents of Meghan Aileen to capture their extra special day. The beautiful shots, scenery, and details make it a wedding worth saving! Hope you enjoy!
I love the yellow and black combo!
So loving the brides hair + headband!
The Skirball Center is located on 15 acres against the Santa Monica Mountains of Los Angeles. What an ideal location for a wedding – gardens, pools, patios, and architecture! It can also accommodate up to 2,000 guests.
So bright and pretty! These centerpieces make me smile 🙂
And last but not least … the ring shot! This is my favorite.
Ok guys, these pictures are the cutest ever! I’m so excited! Just so romantic and beautiful – from the dress to the flowers to the adorable heart lollipops! I’m just loving everything about this Valentine’s Day inspired session. I know you’ll love it as much as I do ❤
LOVE that bouquet!

With my older sisters bridal shower just a few hours away, I wanted to share this A-dorable lingerie bridal shower I came across by Becky Young Photography. It has got to be one of my favorites! The vintage details are stunning!
