I was alerted this morning by my REI iPhone app that there’s 24 inches of new snow in the mountains! I’m dying to go boarding but there’s no time right now so I guess this Canadian winter photo shoot will just have to do 🙂

Today I headed down to San Diego to check out “A Royal Affair” hosted at the gorgeous US Grant Hotel. I love attending these wedding shows, it was such a great day! There were so many talented wedding vendors on hand from Sprinkles cupcakes to Tiffany & Co along with SO many pretty displays and giveaways, not to mention tons of free wedding magazines (which I LOVE to collect). One of my favorite rooms in the hotel is the Crystal Ballroom. This room is amazing and oh so beautiful with European plasterwork and a hand painted ceiling which makes for a stunning wedding ceremony. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Don’t you just love great photography + a cute couple + a fabulous venue? I do! I bookmark tons of my favorite weddings and this is one of them. Posted back in 2009, I fell in love with the architectural setting of the Skirball Center and the color scheme of this Orthodox Jewish wedding. Adee & Jonathan hired the talents of Meghan Aileen to capture their extra special day. The beautiful shots, scenery, and details make it a wedding worth saving! Hope you enjoy!

The Skirball Center is located on 15 acres against the Santa Monica Mountains of Los Angeles. What an ideal location for a wedding – gardens, pools, patios, and architecture! It can also accommodate up to 2,000 guests.
So bright and pretty! These centerpieces make me smile 🙂
And last but not least … the ring shot! This is my favorite.
