Beyond Gorgeous Bahamas Wedding

Happy weekend everyone!  Hope you’re all having a great day because I’m about to make it even better.  Talk about eye candy – this wedding featured on Style Me Pretty is super pretty with amazing backdrops, to die for florals, and a stunning wedding gown by Oscar De La Renta.  Every detail is spectacular, and I know you’ll enjoy these photos from James Christianson as much as I did.

Water Balloon Engagement Sesh

Engagement sessions keep getting better and better.  I’ve had this super fun post from Ruffled blog saved under my “favorite wedding stuff” for quite some time, and be lucky I’m sharing with you now 🙂

Matt & Julie sure looked like they had a ton of fun for this shoot.  But then again who wouldn’t have fun with water balloons?  The pictures from Daniel Kiyoi came out perfect, don’t you just LOVE it?

Wedding Tents

One wedding detail that I’m just loving lately is wedding tents!  Set them up in a garden, park, outdoor venue and you’ll have a beautiful reception area that will protect guests from any kind of weather conditions that may arise.  Wedding tents with chandeliers?  Even better!

How absolutely stunning is that last shot?  I love it!

Here’s a guide from Red Velvet Occasions to figure out the size of tent you will need for the number of guests you have, very helpful!

Number of Guests |  Size of Tent (in square feet)
  50 | 650-750
100 | 1,300-1,500
150 | 1,950 – 2,250
200 | 2,600 – 3,000
250 | 3,250 – 3,750
300 | 3,900 – 4,500

Even though they can be a bit pricey, I looovvveee this look!

Wedding Gown Stunner by Ali Rahimi

Happy Friday everyone!  Enjoying my one day off this week getting some things done around the house and blogging of course!  One of my favorite wedding blogs, Grey Likes Weddings is allowing brides and those obsessed with weddings (I’m both :)) to share their own personal blogs on their website and I think it’s a wonderful idea!  Today the topic is on favorite wedding gowns and boy do I have a gorgeous one for you!  I first came across this custom-made dress by designer Ali Rahimi in an Inside Weddings Magazine long before I was a bride-to-be and let’s just say I fell in love.  Gazelle, the bride, looks absolutely stunning!  Check out the amazing photos by Apertura.

Oh yeah … and I love the veil too!  Goes perfect with the dress!

The gown was designed by Ali Rahimi at Mon Atelier Bridal Salon in Los Angeles, CA.  I would love to find something similar for my big day!  There’s still a lot of things I need to take care of before I really delve into wedding dress shopping but I’m definitely looking forward to it 🙂

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Kris

Stunning Orchid Bouquet by Square Root Design

Hallelujah the weekend is almost here!  Looking forward to my 3 day weekend.  I came across this beautiful Laguna Beach Montage wedding and couldn’t keep my eyes off this gorgeous bouquet!  Not only do I have a thing for orchids, but I’m obsessed with that color!  And how can you go wrong with the amazing photography of Jasmine Star … the pictures just pop!

Cotton Candy Love

The Orange County Fair is in town and you know what that means?  Food, food, food!  And what fair is complete without the signature sweet – cotton candy!  I put together a little cotton candy inspiration board; wouldn’t this be fun for a birthday party theme, bridal shower, or even colors for a fun summer wedding?

My problem is I just want to eat it all!  I’m sure I’ll get my fill on Sunday 🙂  Have a great rest of your week!

♥,

Kris

Sarah + Steve’s Sweet Succulent Wedding

I can’t believe the weekend is already over!  But cheer up because I have a super sweet wedding by Events of Love and Splendor to share with all of you.  This is one of my favorites; I just love all the succulent details!  Sarah + Steve were married at Pasadena City Hall (city where I was born!) and went for a spring wedding with bright yellows and grays.  The photography is stunning and all the little details they used brought such a cheery and fun vibe to their special day.  Enjoy the photos!

In LOVE with these succulent table numbers … so cute!

Cake Anyone?

Ok, I LOVE this!  But then again, when do I put something on my little blog that I don’t love?!  This is such a fun, fun, fun idea and you could do it for any type of celebration. Found on Strawberry Chic blog, this little party was dubbed “Let Them Eat Cake” – an all girl cake decorating party which included snacks, darling decor, and a cute little cake stand for the girls to take home!  I want to have a party like this of my own!

Images from Strawberry Chic

Too cute huh?  The little cakes were already pre-frosted with buttercream frosting, so the girls just had to concentrate on their cake decorating skills 🙂

Franciscan Gardens, San Juan Capistrano

Time for another venue tour tomorrow!  This time it’ll be in the city of San Juan Capistrano at the Franciscan Gardens.  I found a beautiful wedding that was shot there not to long ago that I want to share with you.  This place has got tons of old town San Juan Cap charm, beautiful gardens, and is close to the San Juan Mission.  I can’t wait to see what it’s all about; I’ll be sure to let you guys know what I think.

The wedding of Eliza + Allan was shot by the super talented ladies of Joielala Photography and the details are fabulous!  LOVE the shoes, rose bag, florals, and dessert bar!

So perfect!
