I’m very happy to say that one more thing can be crossed off on our wedding checklist … our photographers! We met with Paul and Leanne of Sargeant Photography in Long Beach on Monday night, and I pretty much knew we’d be choosing them then 🙂 I’ve followed their website, blogs, and facebook for awhile now and obviously love their work. They shot our friends Liz & Drew and JP & Megan’s weddings and each was thrilled with all their photographs, wedding albums, and overall interaction with the Sargeant’s. Ryan and I are super excited and can’t wait for our engagement session in January (I need to start thinking of ideas!).

Fall Is In the Air …

Fall is here and I’m loving it all – cooler temps (at least for now), pumpkins, hot chocolate, and the start of the holiday season. Rainy Charlottesville Wedding

The weekend is almost here and I can feel it! Wanted to share a very pretty and refreshing real wedding with all of you today from Style Me Pretty. Held at a Charlottesville vineyard on a gloomy, rainy day, this wedding is simply lovely from the bride’s bouquet of white peonies, lavender sweet peas, and fuchsia dendrobium orchids to the J Crew stylish bridesmaid dresses. The green landscape adds such a beautiful backdrop and I love looking at all the photography shot by Eric Kelley Photography. How cute is the picture of all the bridesmaids with umbrellas? Love it!

Wedding Venue, Check!

Guess what?! Our wedding venue and date are finally set in stone! The deposit was made on Monday to secure the date of 11.2.12! And the place is … Turnip Rose in Costa Mesa! Ryan and I are really excited about picking out our venue. Turnip Rose was actually the very 1st place we looked at, and we left feeling very impressed with the overall vibe of the place. We went back to show my mom and wedding planner Liz, and my mom snapped some amazing shots which further reassured me that this is the right location for us! I’m really looking forward to all the amazing photographs that will come from our special day 🙂

San Diego Wedding Party Bridal Show – Hyatt Regency Mission Bay 10.2.11

Good evening! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was lucky to have 5 days off, to bad most of those days were spent being sick Starting to feel a little bit better and I wanted to share with all of you yet another fabulous bridal show I attended last weekend down in sunny San Diego. The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Resort was set up beautifully, complete with an outdoor area for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. I came home with wedding magazines, chocolates, fun pictures from the photo booths, and all kinds of discounts and deals from the vendors. The fashion show was a great success with a fashion show by VaLena Valentina Couture. Check out some of the shots I got from the show; I always have a blast at these events 🙂
