Candy Box Labels from Wedding Chicks

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I was working on some custom labels for the Chinese take out boxes that will be used for our candy bar at the wedding.  And thanks to the Wedding Chicks, I think I found the perfect logo!  Here it is:

I purchased some Avery round labels like these here.  They were $14.99 but there is a $7 rebate that you can complete online to get some of your money back.  It was super simple, I just downloaded Avery’s online template and adjusted the monogram onto it.

I had to move the circles around a tad bit to make them center, but other than that I had no problems.  Here’s the finished product, I love it!

The gals over at Wedding Chicks have some really cute designs to chose from, you can check them all out here.

Have a great day!

Kris

Just Married Signs

Hi guys!  Looks like posts will be about 1-2 a week right now with the wedding only 45 days away!  There’s still a lot to do, even though most of the major details have been taken care of – seems like there’s always something 🙂

I love “Just Married” signs, especially when they’re customized to the couple’s theme.  They make for a great shot of the newly married husband and wife.  Here’s some of my favorites, aren’t they the cutest?

DIY Straw Flags

Hello there!  Who doesn’t love paper straws?  I sure do; I want them in every color!  They’re the perfect little detail for any fun event, especially when you add a cute personalized straw flag. I recently used them for my bridal shower, with the free printables from Polka Dot Bride here.  I changed the wording on the template to fit the event, printed them on purple cardstock, cut them out, then glued the flags together around the straws.

Finished product at my bridal shower!

Shop Sweet Lulu has a great selection of muti-colored paper straws to chose from.  I purchased my black and purple straws from their online shop.

I also used the template to make some cupcake flags along with some washi tape.  I love how they turned out, so simple and cute!

The internet is a beautiful thing!  Thank you Polka Dot Bride

Have a great day!

My Favorite Kind of Bouquets

Hi friends!  Did you miss me?  Today I want to share with you some of my own wedding bouquet inspiration.  For my bouqet, I’ll be going for the deep, dark red roses with black accents and maybe some black cala lilies mixed in.  To be honest with you, this 1st bouquet basically made the decision for me on my choice of wedding colors – black, white, with pops of dark reds.  I just love the romantic and classy feel of it.
