Happy Friday! What better way to start the weekend off then with a flower chandelier … isn’t it pretty?
Have a great weekend, see you next week!
Hi friends! Today I wanted to give you a peek at my beautiful bridesmaids and where I found my inspiration for their look. I first came across Project Wedding long before I was engaged. It’s a great wedding site to research all kinds of details about your big day and also provides a great bridal forum to discuss and get opinions from other brides and newlyweds. I stumbled upon a bride whose wedding truly inspried me. Here’s the bridesmaid photos from Jamie’s wedding that I used for my inspiration:
I knew I wanted those deep, dark red roses for the bridal party bouquets and black dresses. I chose a long dress style which I think looked beautiful!
And these are my beautiful bridesmaids … from right to left – Amanda, Emilia, Adrienne, Christina, Tasha, and Jess 🙂
LOVE the bouquets, aren’t they gorgeous?
Thanks for the great pictures mom! We haven’t recieved our professional photos back yet but when we do I’ll be sure to share!
One trend I’m really loving right now in weddings is chalkboards. From table numbers, bride and grooms signs, and wedding ceremony program boards, chalkboard signs have hit the wedding world. Here’s a few of my favorite chalkboard details:

Chalkboard wedding invitations, too cute!

For our wedding, I wanted to do something different from the normal ceremony programs that guests receive (and most of the time just throw away). My wedding planner, Liz from Eventfully Beautiful, created this beautiful chalkboard ceremony board that I just loved!
Chalkboard signs really add that cute little detail to any wedding, shower, or party.
I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving; we have so much to be thankful for! Also, this will be my 1st Thanksigiving as a Mrs. 🙂
Take care and we’ll see you back here next week!
Hi friends!!! My husband and I are back on the mainland and we had a SPECTACULAR time in Maui; it was truly amazing. I’ll be sharing pictures of the island later, but today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite parts of our wedding – our videographers and same day edit video!
Tom, owner of Aqua Vivus Productions, and his assistant Chris put together the most incredible and unique 4 minute video for Ryan, myself, and our guests at our wedding reception back on Friday, November 2nd. We LOVE it!!! We’ve received so many compliments from our guests over the video and we can’t stop watching it! It was one of the best decisions we made hiring these guys!
Alright, enough talk about the video … here it is!
Stay tuned for many more posts and details leading up to our wedding day, the BIG day, and our honeymoon! See you all back here soon 🙂
Hi there, remember me? Obviously I’ve been a bit absent from the blog lately; tomorrow I get married! Talk about time flying … it’s crazy! I’m a bit anxious/nervous but super excited to marry the perfect man for me. I can’t wait to share with you all pictures, videos, and memories from this special day. I know it’s going to fly by and I’ll do my best to enjoy every minute of it!
We’ll be leaving for Maui on Monday (CANNOT WAIT!) and enjoying a 9 day honeymoon at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa in Lahaina.
I’ll see you guys in a few weeks! I leave you with a picture from our engagement session in Feburary, shot by Sargeant Photography.
