Our Wedding Album is Here!

Hi friends!  Guess what?  Not only did we receive our GORGEOUS wedding album from our photographers, but we also received all our wedding photos!!!  Stay tuned for tons of pretty pics and details from our big day.

Our album came from West Coast Albums and the quality is amazing!  The book couldn’t have been made without the oh so talented Paul and Leanne Sargeant of Sargeant Photography.  Here are a few of the pages:

Wedding Gown Preservation

A bride’s wedding dress is a huge part of her wedding day, obviously!  Having my wedding dress cleaned and preserved after the wedding was very important to me.  Luckily, the bridal shop I bought my gown from, Mary Me Bridal, provided an excellent company in Wedding Gown Preservation Co.  They clean and preserve the wedding gown, giving it a 100 year guarantee.  In the event the dress begins to yellow, they promise to re preserve the gown or refund the money in the case they are unable to remove the yellow color.

The box it came in has a viewing window so you’re able to see the gown.

Sure it’s just sitting in a box and there’s nothing you can really do with it but put it in your closet, but it’s still there to remind you of the best day of your life!  I’d highly recommend Wedding Gown Preservation Co. to brides looking to preserve or even just clean their gowns after the wedding day.  They’re prices are very reasonable and they have been around since 1913 so you know they are experts in the field!

Have a fabulous day!

Our Wedding Album Cover

Hi friends!  I have yet another sneak peek for you… our wedding album cover!  Still waiting to receive it but I thought I’d share the cover with you since I have that image.  I’m hoping it will be arriving in the next few weeks!

I think the color of the album goes well with the background of the picture, don’t you think?  I know Ryan and I will cherish it forever 🙂

Have a fabulous day!

Mint Love

I think it’s safe to say that mint is one of the hottest color trends on the wedding scene for 2013.  Lately I have been seeing this color everywhere!  If I could have another wedding, I’d love a mint and peach color scheme in the spring (maybe for my vow renewal?).  It’s so light and pretty, don’t you think?

Pretty sure I’m going to need to order that mint cake stand asap!

Have a fabulous day friends!

Flower Friday

Happy Friday friends!  I think it’s pretty obvious I have an obsession with flowers, I just can’t get enough!

One of my absolute favorites is the Jasmine plant, not only for its beautiful flower but also because of its amazing fragrance.  I can always tell Spring is here when the little Jasmine buds begin to bloom and the sweet smells waft into our place.  In a couple more weeks the whole plant should be in full bloom.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone and don’t forget to stop and smell the Jasmine 🙂

DIY Bunny Wreath from Simplicity in the South

Hello friends and happy Monday!  I hope you all had a great Easter weekend with family and friends, I sure did.  I wanted to share with you something I found from an awesome DIY and home decor inspired blog called Simplicity in the South.  You’ll find tons of easy and adorable projects for all kinds of occasions and holidays.  When I saw this bunny wreath, I knew I had to make it and surprisingly it was quite simple.  You’ll find all the directions with pictures here on Tricia’s site.  Most of the items used can be found at your local craft store (I went to the always reliable Hobby Lobby) and around the house.

Here’s how my bunny came out:

Pretty cute huh?  I kinda love it 🙂

Don’t you think this would be fun for a Spring bridal shower even?  Thanks again Tricia for the inspiration!

Have a fabulous rest of your day!
