My Sister + Baby Noah’s Baby Shower

Good morning friends!  My mom, little sister, and I threw my sister Amanda a baby shower last weekend; everything came out super cute and we all had a great time celebrating the soon to be mother and new baby.  I wanted to share with you a few photos from that day.

My friend and I made this Baby Noah banner with her cricut machine and I just loved the way it came out.  Hopefully my sister will be able to hang it up in his nursery.

I made this diaper cake all out of all sorts of baby items that Noah will be able to use 🙂untitled-114

We made little craft bags that held everyone’s silverware, so cute!Amanda's Baby Shower1

Can’t wait to meet the little guy in September (due date is September 3rd), or if he’s early, August!

Have a fabulous day!

The Island Hotel, Newport Beach

Ryan and I were married on a Friday and left for our honeymoon the following Monday.  The night of the wedding, I wanted to stay somewhere local and fairly close to our venue so we chose the Island Hotel in Newport Beach.  We had an amazing experience here!  The night before the wedding, my maid of honor and I stayed in their Island Corner Suite and it was fabulous!  Plenty of room to get ready right before the wedding and the perfect place for photos.  We had views of Fashion Island and the Pacific coastline.

Since we were not suppose to arrive at our venue until 3pm, it was nice to have a place to get ready with all my bridesmaids and just relax.  The Island Hotel provides amazing customer service, amenities, and I can’t wait to visit them again.

Have a fabulous day!

Wedding Cake by Creative Cakes

Good morning!  Picking out the wedding cake can be a really big decision for most couples.  Our wedding cake was made at Creative Cakes in Orange, California and included in the wedding package we chose from our venue.  The process was so simple and fun.  We decided on lemon with raspberry mousse, red velvet with white chocolate chip, and chocolate with chocolate mousse; everything was so fabulous it was hard to decide!  And even though we didn’t get much of our cake that night, we have our anniversary to look forward to!  Creative Cakes offers a free one year anniversary cake to all their brides.

Natalie from Natalie Galasso Designs added small clusters of red roses at various spots on the cake and a thick bed of red rose petals around the base.  The cake turned out exactly how I envisioned it!

Our cake topper was purchased through Etsy, unfortunately the gal who made it for us is no longer in business but there’s tons more like it on the site.

Flower Friday

Hi friends!  I hope you all had a great 4th of July yesterday.

Here’s a little sneak peek of the flowers that were on our sweetheart table.  I will be doing a post on that soon.
