The Not Wedding, San Diego

Good morning!  Hope everyone’s having a great week so far.  I wanted to share with you an event I attended a few weeks ago in Balboa Park, SD at the San Diego Air & Space Museum called The Not Wedding.  This event is an actual wedding, not real of course, but allows brides and grooms an opportunity to see vendors in action.  We had so much fun and met a lot of great people.  Here’s a few pictures from that night:

One of the best parts of the night was probably indulging in the dessert station, created by Dana of The Sunday Sweet.  Mini apple pies, peanut butter chocolate cupcakes, and banana pudding with wafers on top were just a few of my favorites.

US Grant San Diego Love Etc Wedding Showcase

Over the weekend I attended The US Grant 2012 Wedding Showcase, Love Etc.  The show was fabulous!  The lovely US Grant Hotel had 3 floors filled with wedding inspiration, amazing florals, top vendors in the wedding industry, and gorgeous eye candy.  Some of the vendors included The Knot, Ceremony Magazine, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Neiman Marcus, Blush Botanicals, Alchemy Fine Events, and Couture Events San Diego just to name a few.  I had a great time, enjoyed all the yummy food and desserts, and left with some great prizes and favors.

As you can see by the photos, this was an amazing show!  Thanks to the luxurious US Grant Hotel for hosting such a fabulous event!  Can’t wait for next year.

San Diego Wedding Party Bridal Show – Hyatt Regency Mission Bay 10.2.11

Good evening!  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I was lucky to have 5 days off, to bad most of those days were spent being sick  Starting to feel a little bit better and I wanted to share with all of you yet another fabulous bridal show I attended last weekend down in sunny San Diego.  The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Resort was set up beautifully, complete with an outdoor area for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.  I came home with wedding magazines, chocolates, fun pictures from the photo booths, and all kinds of discounts and deals from the vendors.  The fashion show was a great success with a fashion show by VaLena Valentina Couture.  Check out some of the shots I got from the show; I always have a blast at these events 🙂

I loved all the bouquets and florals from Flower Hill Flowers in Solana Beach, so pretty.

San Diego Wedding Party Bridal Show – 6.26.11

What a perfect weekend for a bridal show in beautiful La Jolla!  Yesterday I rounded up some of my best gals to attend the San Diego Wedding Party Bridal Show at the sleek Hyatt Regency La Jolla.  Loved the hotel and of course the company!  So many pretty things to see and win!  For starters, I received a voucher for a free, yes free pearl necklace form the Diamond Boutique in Del Mar.  I can’t wait to redeem that one.  Then upon further inspection of my bag of goodies I realized I also had a coupon for a free spa service of my choice, definitely choosing the massage, maybe even a couples massage.  My favorite part of the show?  I think I’ll go with the Cupcake Wars tasting contest.  California Cupcake Company was my favorite hands down!  It was a bit of cupcake overload, but it was worth it!  After the cupcake tastings we watched a fun wedding dress runway show with beautiful designs from Elyse Reuben.  As always, I had a wonderful time with the girls: snapping pictures of all the amazing florals and displays, goofing off in the photo booths, and collecting as many free magazines as I could carry 🙂

I’m going to have to come back to visit this place!
