This photo shoot has been in my “favorites folder” to share for awhile now and I think today is the perfect time.  I love, love, love this fun milk & cookies shoot styled by the ladies at Love and Lavender and featured on Style Me Pretty.  Honestly who doesn’t love milk & cookies?  I can never pass up chocolate milk 😉 … enjoy!

On a side note, I LOVE the bride’s dress – a Jim Hjelm stunner and one of my favorites.  If I hadn’t found my dream dress, I wanted this to be the one!

Valentine Burlap Banner

Is everyone almost ready for Valentine’s Day?  I love all the decorating and DIY projects this time of year.  One fun element I’m loving is Valentine banners and boy do I have a cute one for you!  In fact, this banner is the one I bought for our engagement session/wedding day decor.  The pictures don’t even do it justice, it’s the cutest thing ever!  Brandy from baybeedahlboutique makes the burlap banners, and you can check out her shop here.  There’s all kinds of different designs she sells, all of them unique and oh so cute 🙂

A Valentine Engagement Shoot by Simply Bloom Photography

Hello there and good morning!  I can’t believe it’s already mid-January and Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching.  I’ve started to decorate my place for one of my favorite times of the year; who doesn’t love hearts, candy, and flowers?!  There’s so many darling Valentine inspiration out there, and I’m soaking it all in 🙂

A Twilight Inspired Wedding Photo Shoot

Breaking Dawn came out this past weekend, and yep you’re right, I saw it.  Ummm hellooo, I’ve been waiting for the wedding to come out on the big screen for a long time now and it was beautiful!  I came across this Twilight inspired wedding photo shoot on The Wedding Chicks blog, and although it’s not exactly like the actual wedding in the book and movie, it has those Twiligh-esque elements, not to mention my wedding colors!  Love the bouquet, that cake stand (which I have in black), and the gorgeous deep, red colors.

Vintage Apple Orchard Photo Shoot

Hello and happy Monday!  I have the cutest photo shoot ever to brighten up your day today!  Great photography, an apple orchard, puppies, vintage bicycle – what more could you ask for?  The newlyweds Ashley & Jimmy brought their puppies along for the shoot, Marina a golden retriever & Lucca a pomerian … they’re as cute as can be!  I love the vintage vibe and I’m a sucker for cute puppy faces 🙂

Starry Night

Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh is one of my all time favorite pieces of art.  The colors, the sky, and all the movement in the piece make it one of the most recognizable images in modern culture.  Janece of Every Elegant Detail was inspired by this painting and put together a wedding inspired shoot that is fabulous!  Just shows you that wedding inspiration really can come from anywhere 🙂

Cherry Blossom L.O.V.E!

If I haven’t mentioned this before, I’m going to mention it now … I LOVE CHERRY BLOSSOMS!  So when I came across these pictures on Style Unveiled my mouth dropped open.  Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful pictures and such an unique and darling idea – I’m in love.  I think I need more cherry blossoms in my life 🙂  Enjoy the pictures and thank you Style Unveiled for this great inspiration!
