Lila Frances Wedding Hanger

Hi there! Yes, I realize you haven’t heard from me in quite some time, ok about a month but who’s counting? I missed you all and am back to share with you some pictures of my personalized wedding hanger. You might remember this post where I shared my own hanger, and here is another shot from our amazing wedding photographers.  This hanger is something I will hold on to forever!

Our Wedding Ceremony Chalkboard

Hello friends!  Sorry it’s been a bit quiet on the blog lately.  I don’t want to make excuses but my adorable 2 month old (almost 3!) nephew is in town from the east coast and I’ve been trying to hang with him.  Also, I’ve started up piano lessons again!  It’s been fun!  But let’s get back to the wedding stuff…

I’ve talked about chalkboard details in weddings before and how much I love them.  I wanted to do a wedding chalkboard for our ceremony instead of the paper ones that you see at most weddings.  I found my inspiration from this wedding:

Pretty, right?  Our ceremony sign was designed by our wedding planner, Liz from Eventfully Beautiful.

Loved the way it turned out and it saved a lot of paper!  There are alternatives out there instead of using paper programs 🙂

Have a fabulous day!

Wooden Wedding Cake Toppers

Hi guys!  I came across these adorable wooden cake toppers while browsing on Etsy and had to have some! I placed an order for our one year wedding anniversary which we celebrated this past Saturday. Charlene from Creative ButterflyXOX creates the cutest wooden cake toppers and they are completely personalized! Not only did I have Ryan and myself made, but our little Maltese pup Sophie too!

I sent our wedding pictures and close up shots of Sophie and Charlene was able to make us into little wooden people.  They look just like us!

Make sure you check out Charlene’s shop here.

Our Wedding Party

Hello!  Let me just start off by saying we had the most amazing wedding party.  Not only were they family and friends who we love dearly but they looked amazing as well!  Ryan and I chose 6 girls and guys to stand by us on our wedding day.  I had my 2 sisters, sister in law, and 3 best friends and Ryan had his brother, my brother, and 4 of his closest friends.  The wedding party shots are some of my favorite out of the whole wedding, everyone looked so sharp!

My bridesmaids purchased their dresses at Alfred Angelo and David’s Bridal.  The groomsmen’s tuxes were provided by Friar Tux.  I absolutely loved how the overall look came together, exactly what I envisioned!  It will be our one year anniversary on November 2, 2013… crazy how fast the time has gone by.

Have a fabulous day, friends!

Customized Bridesmaid Hangers

Good morning friends!  Sorry last week was a bit quiet around here on the blog but I have something extra special for you today – bridesmaid hangers!  I wanted to get my girls something a little different and something custom to each bridesmaid.  The Hanger Girl on Etsy designs these customized name hangers in bulk, which was great for me since I needed six.  They came out super cute and all the girls loved them!

The Island Hotel, Newport Beach

Ryan and I were married on a Friday and left for our honeymoon the following Monday.  The night of the wedding, I wanted to stay somewhere local and fairly close to our venue so we chose the Island Hotel in Newport Beach.  We had an amazing experience here!  The night before the wedding, my maid of honor and I stayed in their Island Corner Suite and it was fabulous!  Plenty of room to get ready right before the wedding and the perfect place for photos.  We had views of Fashion Island and the Pacific coastline.

Since we were not suppose to arrive at our venue until 3pm, it was nice to have a place to get ready with all my bridesmaids and just relax.  The Island Hotel provides amazing customer service, amenities, and I can’t wait to visit them again.

Have a fabulous day!
