Our Engagement Session by Sargeant Photography

Hi friends! I know I’ve shown you a few of my engagement photos here and there and links to where our pictures have been featured, but today I wanted to share with you my favorite photos from our e-sesh with Paul and Leanne from Sargeant Photography. Of course it had to rain on the day we were scheduled to shoot but honestly it made the pictures come out so unique and cool looking, Ryan and I were so happy with them! We began shooting at a wilderness park in Laguna Beach then moved to downtown. We finished on the beach with some of my favorite images of the whole day. Paul and Leanne are truly talented!

I love our sign by Brandy at baybee-dahl boutique.

Aren’t the clouds so beautiful?! This rain loving girl had such a fun time on our shoot, wish we could do it again! What do you all think of the pictures?

Engagement Session Featured on The Loveliest Day!

Hello! Guess what? 6 months from today I will be a married woman! Time is flying by, it’s crazy!

Sneak Peek: E-Sesh with Sargeant Photography

Good morning! How is everyone doing today? I promise I haven’t forgotten about you, just been busy these last couple of days. I’ve also been working on a post to show you the amazing time I had on Sunday at The US Grant Hotel’s Wedding Showcase, Love Etc. Hopefully tomorrow I will finish uploading and editing all the pics; there was a ton of beautiful inspiration and so much to see!

So the next item on my wedding checklist are save the dates. I’m hoping sometime this month we’ll receive our CD with all the images from our engagement shoot back in February. Until then, here’s a couple of shots that I just love! A few of you may have seen these already on Instagram, but for those of you who haven’t … enjoy!

So I think this is one of my favorites. Totally the “Rainy Day” shot I was hoping for. And look how cute Ryan looks 😉 Let me tell you, it started to come down after this!

I love those shoes and so glad I wore them that day! They give the pictures that extra pop!

Photographers, check!

I’m very happy to say that one more thing can be crossed off on our wedding checklist … our photographers! We met with Paul and Leanne of Sargeant Photography in Long Beach on Monday night, and I pretty much knew we’d be choosing them then 🙂 I’ve followed their website, blogs, and facebook for awhile now and obviously love their work. They shot our friends Liz & Drew and JP & Megan’s weddings and each was thrilled with all their photographs, wedding albums, and overall interaction with the Sargeant’s. Ryan and I are super excited and can’t wait for our engagement session in January (I need to start thinking of ideas!).
