Christmas Cake Pops

Hello and happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great, long Thanksgiving weekend.  Christmas season is definitely in full swing and I’m loving all the decorations and DIY projects on the web.  One thing I need to try out is my cake pop maker that is sitting in my cupboard unopened!  I came across some really cute Christmas cake pops that I’m dying to make.  Hopefully this weekend I can put the maker to good use!

I want to wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!  We have so much to be thankful for!  And I’m especially thankful for you, my readers!

Any goodies you’ll be making for tomorrow?

How pretty is this Thanksgiving tabletop?  It’d be gorgeous for a fall wedding as well.

A Twilight Inspired Wedding Photo Shoot

Breaking Dawn came out this past weekend, and yep you’re right, I saw it.  Ummm hellooo, I’ve been waiting for the wedding to come out on the big screen for a long time now and it was beautiful!  I came across this Twilight inspired wedding photo shoot on The Wedding Chicks blog, and although it’s not exactly like the actual wedding in the book and movie, it has those Twiligh-esque elements, not to mention my wedding colors!  Love the bouquet, that cake stand (which I have in black), and the gorgeous deep, red colors.

Beautiful Bacara Resort & Spa Wedding, Santa Barbara

Succulents, black chandeliers, and Santa Barbara?!  I’m in!  Love love love this beautiful wedding featured on Style Me Pretty and shot by the talented Tanja Lippert.  This wedding had a garden like vibe to it, along with stunning views of the cliffs and beach of Santa Barbara.  And let’s talk about these florals!  I’m obsessed with all the succulents, the color scheme, and pretty much everything about this wedding.  Hope you enjoy these beautiful photos as much as I am!

Oh So Cute Paper Ranunculus

Hello and happy Monday!  I wanted to share a cute find I came across on Etsy the other day.  The shop Sunny & Stumpy make beautiful and realistic looking ranunculus bouquets, cake flowers, and paper goods such as programs and cards.  Nothing beats the real thing, but these little paper flowers sure are cute!

The magnets are cute too!All images from Sunny & Stumpy Shop

Wedding Shoe Love

Badgley Mischka, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik … uhh yes please!  Wedding shoes are one of the most important details a bride can consider for her big day.  And just because most wedding dresses are long doesn’t mean that shoe won’t peek out while walking or sitting down 🙂  I love looking at shoes … which one is your favorite?

Engagement Session Inspirations

Time is flying by and there’s only 364 more days until our wedding!  Ryan, my mom, and I went to our first food tasting yesterday and it was fabulous!  So many delicious things to try and the best fondue bar ever!  We had so much fun and it only made me more excited for our big day.  Pictures coming soon!

I love looking at engagement photo sessions almost as much as I love looking at wedding pictures.  With my engagement shoot coming up in the next few months, I (well we :)) need to start figuring out the theme and location of the shoot.  There’s so many great ideas out there, and I wanted to share some of my favorites.  Which ones stand out to you?Looovvveee this, so sweet and soft – via 100 Layer Cake

There ya go … some of my favorite engagement shots.  I have a million more to share but I’ll stop here for now 🙂  Can’t wait to share my own engagement pictures with all of you in the very near future!

Thanks for reading!  Hope everyone has a great rest of the day!
