Soooooooooo it’s been awhile since I’ve checked in, and there is definitely some updating to be done around here!  Our sweet baby boy, Christian Ryan Kailey, was born on February 7, 2015 and he is absolutely perfect!  I want to update you with more recent pictures but for now I’d love to share some photos from our newborn photo shoot by Bella Baby Photography.

New Addition Coming in Feburary!

Hello friends!!!  It’s me, Kris!  It’s been quite some time since I last posted, almost 4 months!  Things have been busy over here and I have some exciting news to share!  My husband and I will be expecting our first child next year… a baby boy!!!  Christian Ryan will be making his appearance in Febuary 2015.  We can’t wait to meet the little guy!

Special thanks to my mom for the announcement picture!  Stay tuned for baby updates and news on the nursery, can’t wait to share all the details!

Happy 2nd Birthday Live What You Love!

Hello friends!  Today my little blog turns 2… isn’t it crazy how time flies?!  I remember thinking, man, I’d love to start my own blog and have it be a place where I can put my wedding ideas down and also have people check it out!  And here we are 2 years later.  This year I will have so many more posts to share with you on my own wedding and the details that made it so special.  I want to thank all you who read my blog and for your amazing comments, they really mean a lot to me and I appreciate it!  I hope to hear from all you soon!

Our Wedding Pictures Are In!

Hello friends!  It’s Monday already?  Aww man!  I worked all weekend but guess what?  Our amazing photographers sent over the link to view all our photos from the wedding and they are so beautiful!  We’ll have the CD of all the images in a few weeks (then I can post more) but I wanted to give you one sneak peek of one of my favorites with my sisters and our beautiful bouquets from Natalie Galasso Designs.  I just LOVE them!  Keep in mind this is a screen shot I took on my computer so it’s not the clearest image but you get the picture 🙂

Signing Off to Become Mrs. Kailey!

Hi there, remember me?  Obviously I’ve been a bit absent from the blog lately; tomorrow I get married!  Talk about time flying … it’s crazy!  I’m a bit anxious/nervous but super excited to marry the perfect man for me.  I can’t wait to share with you all pictures, videos, and memories from this special day.  I know it’s going to fly by and I’ll do my best to enjoy every minute of it!

We’ll be leaving for Maui on Monday (CANNOT WAIT!) and enjoying a 9 day honeymoon at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa in Lahaina.

The Countdown!

Hi friends!  The time is almost here which means the blog will be a little quiet over the next few weeks.

I have this fun little countdown app on my iPhone called Wedding Countdown.  You’re able to use any background picture you want and add your wording of choice, it’s pretty fun.

Save the Date Postcards

Good morning!  Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their week so far. 

Would you like to see our save the dates?  I’m really pleased with how they turned out, and have been receiving good feedback on them from our guests.  I stumbled upon Pear Tree Greeting’s website in my search to find save the date postcards.  They did a fabulous job!  I’m considering even using them for our invitations later this year.  They offer all kinds of services from graduation cards, to bridal shower invitations, and children’s party invites.  It’s super easy to create your desired look on their website and shipping is unbelieveably fast.

It sure was hard picking my favorite pictures from our engagement session but I narrowed it down to two different shots, one looking at the camera and the other facing away.

Pinterest much?

I have a confession … I have an obsession with Pinterest!  Surprised … or not sure what Pinterest is?  Pinterest allows you to take your inspirations, photos, and ideas from all over the internet and keep them in organized folders or “pinboards.”  From wedding inspiration, recipes, crafts, merchandise, and home decor, Pinterest literally has it all!  I’ve found so many fabulous wedding ideas from this site it’s not even funny 🙂

Introducing Sophie Bella!

Back from a fabulous birthday weekend and guess what I got for my birthday this year?  Here she is …
